Makiyo's mother highly favours her daughter's ex-boyfriend
Taiwanese actress Makiyo's mother was swarmed by reporters who continuously questioned her about her daughter recently break up with her boyfriend of three years, Milton.

"They were in a conversation and they suddenly talked about breaking up. They have not fought lately. Maybe this is the end of their fate. It's a pity, out of her other boyfriends, I really liked Milton best."

Although Milton's father disapproved of his relationship with Makiyo, her mother clarified, "Milton is not a ten-year-old boy and there is nothing his father can do to control his [love life]. Maybe it's because Makiyo values her friends too much and does not have much time to accompany him."

"It might be the different lifestyles for the both of them. Makiyo loves to drink and loves to gather with her friends. Milton is busy with work."

Unwilling to see their relationship go down the drain, Makiyo's mother described Milton as a caring boyfriend with a very mild temperament. "They have been together for so long and definitely have feelings [for each other]. However, I think it's better to let her rest for now, to take a break and nurse her heartache."

It was said that Makiyo plans to take a one-week break to Japan to sort out her thoughts.
